Personal motivation
“Modern animal nutrition has capacity to fulfil the needs of ever-increasing population in terms of quantity and quality. My goal is to improve the resilience and hardiness of chicken birds to diseases and environmental stresses by modulating gut health and microbiome. The MonoGutHealth project appealed to me because it allows me to work on improving the gut health of broiler chickens early in life with modern animal nutrition, which has an influence on their subsequent performance.”
